Car Seat Buggy 2 in 1 - Combos That Are Easy to Use

The Car Seat Buggy 2 in 1, combines two of the most important baby items: the infant car seats and strollers. It makes getting off and on public transport (and climbing and descending stairs) so much easier.

One of the most effective options is the Doona infant car seat and stroller combo. It's the world's first completely integrated travel system that lets you to switch between the car seat and stroller in a matter of seconds without disturbing your sleeping baby.

Easy to Use

Car seat and stroller combinations that are simple to use are essential for parents. These systems allow you to effortlessly switch between running errands or walking your dog and going for a run. You can also keep up with the ever-changing needs of your child, so you can have fun with your family adventures. Our testers love how smoothly and conveniently these travel systems move, regardless of whether they feature one front wheel or a rotating front wheel. The Thule Urban Glide 2 Combo, the BOB Alterrain pro combo and the Baby Jogger City Mini GT 2 Combo are all easy to move. However, the BOB Revolutionflex 3.0 Combo and Baby Jogger City Mini GT 2 Combo can be pushed by one hand.

Certain models are difficult to attach or detach from the base, but. The Doona Combo requires a two step process for attachment, as well as straps which cover the bottom of the infant carrier. It is tempting to bypass these steps, but this could lead to unsafe outcomes.

In the same way, some models are difficult to fold and put away, which makes them less practical than other. The Graco FastAction 3-in-1 Car Seat Stroller, for instance, is difficult to fold due to its huge dimensions and heavy frame. The model also has a small canopy, which some testers find disappointing. The Britax Parkway Combo Click and Go is easy to fold down with one button and a pull of the lever. This model is also a great option for parents who plan on using their car seats on other vehicles as it can be removed from the base and attached to any standard stroller.

Easy to Fold

If you're storing your car seat on its own, in the trunk of your vehicle or even in the closet, it should be easy to fold and unfold. The most effective combinations we've tested come with simple one-handed fold that is compact and durable enough to be used on long strolls. They're also easy to maneuver, moving effortlessly over uneven surfaces and bumps. Certain combos are only connected and removed using straps. This could seem like a step in the back and make it difficult for parents to secure their car seat correctly.

We love the BOB Revolution Flex 3.0 Combo for its handy features and sturdy build, that include a huge storage basket that can be accessed from the front to back. SafeCenter LATCH, a unique feature of the BOB Revolution Flex 3.0 Combo makes it simple to install car seats by connecting the lower anchors and pulling the straps tight.

It's also fairly light and compact, making it a great option for families or frequent travelers who have multiple vehicles. Both the Baby Jogger City Mini GT 2 Combo and the Thule Urban Glide 2 scored very well in our user-friendliness tests.  2 in 1 pram  feature a single front wheel that is easy to push (one-handed! ), as well as an swivel front wheel that can be swiveled which is ideal for shopping and running the errands. The only issue is that they are heavy and are difficult to lift up when carrying a child in the car seat.

Easy to Assemble

Some stroller and car seat combos can be tricky to assemble. We found that the UPPAbaby Cruz v2 Combo was one of the most simple to put together, and it comes with a handy quick-start guide that makes putting this travel system together an easy task. Other models, including the UPPAbaby Minu and UPPAbaby Vista v2, Thule urban Glide 2 and Baby Trend Snap-N-Go EX Universal were also relatively easy to put together. However, the BOB Revolution Flex 3.0 Combo is difficult to put together because it requires two steps - connecting the lower anchors and using straps that go over the bottom of the carrier. It's heavy so it takes two people to snap the carrier in the base, and then detach it.

In our tests, it took just 5 minutes to assemble the UPPAbaby Cruz. This is a quick procedure when you take into account the time saved by not having to remove all the pieces. The toddler seat can be put together and removed with ease on most of these models.
